Carnival Cruises is sailing to China but as a different brand. Carnival Corporation will be debuting a new cruise brand built for the Chinese cruise market, something other cruise companies have not done. Carnival will be transferring Carnival Splendor and Carnival Miracle to the Chinese market in 2017 and 2018.
Carnival Corporation is the first cruise company to design a cruise brand specifically for the Chinese market. This will put Carnival ahead of their competition because current American lines in the market are proving failure in the current market. The lines and ships do not appeal to their Chinese consumers. A cruise line built and designed for the Chinese market will appeal to the consumers better than ships and lines designed for Americans.
