Carnival Jubilee to Introduce New Zones

Carnival Cruise Line is set to debut their newest ship, the Carnival Jubilee, later this year. This ship is the third in the Excel class and promises to deliver guests fun, unique, and immersive ocean-themed experiences.

New Spaces for Guests to Enjoy:

Currents: A Transformative Underwater Space

One of the most exciting new features on the Carnival Jubilee is Currents. This transformative space takes guests below the waves with a playful vibe featuring innovative technology, a new and exciting bar, dining venues, and live music. Located on Decks 6 and 7, Currents is an awe-inspiring space that transports guests to mesmerizing underwater worlds, both realistic and fantastical, in a beautiful area that changes from day to night and throughout the cruise. The six huge LED windows and a massive wave-shaped LED ceiling create immersive environments for guests to enjoy as they try new, unique cocktails and flavorful dishes.

Venues within Currents include Inks, Ph.D., The Golden Mermaid, Emeril's Bistro 717, Alchemy Bar, and Carnival Kitchen.

Inks, Ph.D.: A Fun Bar Inspired by Octopuses

Inks, Ph.D. is a fun bar inspired by the cleverest of sea creatures - octopuses! The eight crafty octopus arms adorn this bar, where unique ocean-themed drinks such as color-changing cocktails, jellyfish, and layered shots, and playful items featuring sea foam, boba pearls, and unique garnishes are as visually striking as they are delicious. Dr. Inks' fun and quirky personality is at the center of this experience and comes to life through her musings on the menu and her favorite books, journals, and fountain pens on display.

The Golden Mermaid: An Ultra-Stylish Lounge

The Golden Mermaid is an ultra-stylish lounge where guests can enjoy cocktails inspired by precious gemstones and metals made with edible glitter. Drinks are presented in stunning glassware and adorned with elegant garnishes for an elevated experience. The live band on stage provides a lively backdrop to fun conversation, and the comfortable lounge seating is the perfect place to relax with an elegant drink before or after dinner.

Emeril's Bistro 717: A Delicious Dining Experience

Emeril's Bistro 717 is the line's Chief Culinary Officer, renowned chef, and restauranteur Emeril Lagasse's new restaurant. Named after Carnival Jubilee's hull number at Meyer Werft in Germany, Emeril's Bistro 717 serves a rich breakfast with dishes such as shrimp and grits, poached eggs, and sweet beignets. Guests will also enjoy lunch and dinner with seafood creations such as creole boiled shrimp, fresh oysters, stone crab (seasonally), lobster, and authentic Louisiana cuisine featuring Emeril's signature jambalaya, New Orleans-style barbeque shrimp, and duck and sausage gumbo. Guests can enjoy their meals while sitting beneath impressive LED windows and a ceiling array, creating a unique underwater dining experience.

The Shores: A Seaside-Inspired Zone

On Deck 8, The Shores are where the ocean meets land, a zone inspired by how people enjoy the seaside, including piers, boardwalks, and beaches. An impressive three-deck-high fish school art installation rises from Deck 6 to Deck 8, bringing guests up from the Currents below to the surface.

Guests can stroll along the boardwalk alongside colorful and playful designs, including a fun Ferris wheel-inspired ceiling feature.

Returning Favorites:

Carnival Kitchen

Carnival Kitchen is an immersive culinary experience where guests can learn to cook like a pro with hands-on cooking classes taught by professional chefs. The venue offers various cooking classes catering to different skill levels, from beginner to advanced. Guests can choose from sushi-making, pizza-making, BBQ courses, and more. They will also use top-of-the-line cooking equipment and learn about different ingredients and techniques. The best part? Guests get to enjoy their delicious creations at the end of each class.

BOLT The Ultimate Seacoaster:

The Carnival Jubilee is the fleet's third roller coaster at sea, following in the footsteps of the Mardi Gras and the Carnival Celebration. Bolt, The Ultimate Sea Coaster, is an all-electric coaster that spans almost 800 feet of twists, turns, drops, and exhilarating views of the ocean. In addition, the coaster features motorcycles that race up to 40 miles per hour along the track. Guests can control their speed using each bike's accelerator and brake pedals.

Rudi’s Seagrill and Cucina del Capitano

Rudi's Seagrill and Cucina del Capitano are returning to the Carnival Jubilee with indoor and al fresco seating. Rudi's Seagrill serves seafood in a relaxed and elegant atmosphere, while Cucina del Capitano serves authentic Italian cuisine in a warm and inviting ambiance. Both restaurants offer a unique dining experience and are perfect for special occasions or a night out with friends and family.

Carnival Jubilee is set to debut later this year and promises to offer various unique experiences and attractions. The Currents and The Shores zones are the ship's highlights, offering guests immersive and transformative spaces that take them below the waves and to the seaside. In addition, guests can enjoy guest favorites and the fleet's third roller coaster at sea. Carnival Jubilee is a ship that promises to keep guests entertained, engaged, and immersed in fun throughout their cruise vacation.
