MSC Cruises is bringing July 4th celebrations to sea with patriotic parties, themed drinks, American-inspired dining, and holiday programming onboard ships sailing from U.S. homeports.
The cruise line will mark Independence Day with a full lineup of onboard experiences centered on the holiday, giving guests a festive way to celebrate while at sea. The programming includes Red, White, and Blue parties, commemorative flag giveaways, branded July 4th photo opportunities, themed activities, trivia, and dedicated movie showings.
Guests will also be able to enjoy a lineup of classic American films during the holiday celebration, including Top Gun, Forrest Gump, and Saving Private Ryan.
The celebration will extend to bars and lounges with five limited-time specialty beverages created for the holiday. The July 4th drink lineup includes the American Colada, Stas & Spritz, Star-garita, Uncle Sam’s Sangria, and Freedom Fizz, a non-alcoholic mocktail.
MSC Cruises will also feature holiday dining in the main dining rooms, with menu items such as Southern-style fried chicken and slow-roasted prime rib. A celebratory dessert will also be offered with a commemorative header marking America’s 250th.
In addition, guests can expect a commemorative cake display in a central location onboard, adding another photo-worthy moment to the holiday festivities.
The cruise line will also serve an All-American buffet experience featuring a range of holiday favorites. Menu highlights include hot honey fried chicken, beer brats, smoked pulled pork, Chicago hot dogs, Mississippi Mud Pie, New York cheesecake bites, and Kentucky bourbon bites.
For travelers still looking for a quick July 4th getaway, MSC Cruises is also offering a holiday sale. The promotion includes 40% off cruises, kids sail free, and up to $250 off cruises from U.S. homeports.
With patriotic parties, themed menus, specialty drinks, giveaways, and family-friendly activities, MSC Cruises is positioning its July 4th sailings as an easy way for guests to celebrate Independence Day while enjoying a cruise vacation from a U.S. homeport.
