Royal Caribbean Ship Switch-up!


Tuesday, Royal Caribbean International announced a home port shake-up which includes the four sisters, a smart ship and more.

The four sisters! The four sisters are staying in Florida! Currently, Oasis of the Seas is sailing out of Port Canaveral, Allure and Harmony of the Seas are sailing out of Ft. Lauderdale, and we are all anxiously awaiting the release of Symphony of the Seas! So where are these sisters heading into the 2019-2020 season?

Oasis and Symphony of the Seas: After a bow to stern revitalization and a short run in the Mediterranean Oasis will return to Florida at a new home in port Miami for the Fall/Winter Season and will be joined by her younger sister, Symphony of the Seas.

Allure of the Seas: After spending a year in port, Miami Allure will return to her home in Ft. Lauderdale to continue her sailings to the Eastern and the Western Caribbean.

Harmony of the Seas: The ship that WOW'd us in 2016, Harmony of the Seas will be home porting in Port Canaveral in 2019 taking over the Oasis spot. She will continue to sail seven-night eastern and western Caribbean itineraries.

Ovation will be sailing to Alaska for the 2019 season! For the first time, a smart ship will be sailing the scenic waters of Alaska. Ovation will be making the journey from the "Asia- Pacific" to Alaska to give the North American market a taste of another smart ship!

Navigator and Mariner of the Seas: Newly renovated Navigator and the soon to be renovated Mariner of the Seas will sail three an four-night Bahamas/ Caribbean cruises from Florida. Mariner of the Seas will join Harmony in Port Canaveral, and Navigator will join Oasis and Symphony in Miami!

Anthem Gets some Company: Adventure of the Seas will join her cousin Anthem in Cape Liberty New Jersey. The Adventure will offer 6 to 8-night cruises to Caribbean/ Bahamas and then 10 to 11-night Fall foliage sailings.
