Carnival Cruise Line Introduces Celebration Key

Carnival Cruise Line, one of the world's leading cruise operators, has set sail towards a thrilling new adventure for its guests. The company announced the opening of sales for approximately 400 cruises destined for Celebration Key™, its groundbreaking exclusive cruise port destination in the Bahamas. These exciting journeys are scheduled to begin with the first calls in July 2025, and passengers can start booking these exceptional voyages today.

As Carnival Cruise Line President Christine Duffy proudly stated, "As the first port destination exclusively designed for Carnival Cruise Line guests, Celebration Key will provide the ultimate Carnival fun in the sun, immersed in the natural beauty of Grand Bahama. Our guests have a wide range of ships, homeports, and itineraries that visit our new exclusive destination to choose from."

Located on the captivating south side of Grand Bahama Island, Celebration Key promises to be a paradise tailored to every guest's definition of fun, relaxation, and adventure. Whether it's lounging on the pristine mile-long beach, indulging in authentic Bahamian shopping and dining, or embarking on exciting excursions to explore the island's beauty, there will be endless ways to enjoy this destination.

One of Celebration Key's standout features will be the largest freshwater lagoons in the Caribbean, offering many recreational and leisure activities for families and adults. To facilitate easy access, Carnival ships will dock at an adjacent cruise pier designed to accommodate up to two of Carnival's Excel-class vessels simultaneously, providing guests with direct access to Celebration Key.

Carnival Cruise Line has been working closely with the Bahamian Government and the local Grand Bahama community to make Celebration Key the premier exclusive cruise port destination in the Caribbean. "This is so exciting for the people of Grand Bahama as we watch Celebration Key come to life. We have a bold vision of how Grand Bahama can become the premier destination for entertainment and events in the region," said Ginger Moxie, Minister for Grand Bahama.
