MSC World Asia Is Getting a New Three-in-One Pan-Asian Dining Venue Inspired by Southeast Asian Street Food

MSC World Asia adds new Pan-Asian dining venue with a three-in-one restaurant, bar and street food concept shown on the ship’s promenade.
MSC World Asia will feature a new three-in-one Pan-Asian dining venue with a specialty restaurant, a bar, and complimentary street-food-style bites.

MSC Cruises has revealed details about a Pan-Asian dining concept coming to MSC World Asia, offering guests three ways to experience Southeast Asian-inspired cuisine in a single onboard venue.

The new concept will combine a specialty restaurant, a bar and lounge, and a complimentary on-the-go food window, creating a flexible dining space designed for everything from full meals to quick bites between activities.

MSC World Asia is scheduled to debut in December 2026, and the new venue will be one of the ship’s newest culinary additions as MSC Cruises continues to expand dining variety across its World Class ships.

MSC World Asia is a Pan-Asian dining venue with a street bar, restaurant seating, an on-the-go food window, and an illuminated dragon feature overhead.

Three Dining Experiences in One Venue

The new Pan-Asian venue is designed as an integrated dining concept, allowing guests to choose the experience that best fits their day.

Guests will be able to enjoy a relaxed specialty dining experience, stop by for Southeast Asian-inspired cocktails, or grab complimentary street-food-style bites from an on-the-go window during the day.

The three experiences include:

Specialty Restaurant: A relaxed dining experience featuring curated Pan-Asian dishes inspired by communal dining traditions.

Bar and Lounge: A cocktail-focused space with Southeast Asian-inspired drinks designed to complement the food menu.

Complimentary On-the-Go Offering: A quick-service window serving street food-style bites during the day.

Inspired by the Street Markets of Southeast Asia

MSC Cruises says the venue is inspired by the energy, flavor and atmosphere of Southeast Asian street markets, drawing influence from Indonesia, Singapore, South China, Thailand and Vietnam.

The space will combine food, design, music, and live cooking to create a more immersive environment. Guests can expect bold artwork, a curated soundtrack, live kitchen energy, and décor designed to bring the feel of a vibrant street market to sea.

Menu highlights will include dishes such as Singapore-style shrimp, shiitake mushroom fried rice and wok-fired specialties, along with other flavor-packed options inspired by the region’s culinary traditions.

What Guests Can Expect at the Specialty Restaurant

The specialty restaurant portion of the venue will offer both indoor seating and a casual rooftop terrace. The menu will include an appetizer, main course, and dessert, encouraging guests to mix and match different flavors across the Pan-Asian menu.

MSC Cruises says the restaurant will focus on bold, comforting dishes inspired by authentic Southeast Asian flavors and communal dining.

Guests will also be able to choose from a selection of Asian beers served by the bottle, including Tsingtao, Chang and Bintang. The drink menu will also include bubble teas, smoothies, and fruit juices.

This offering will focus on easy, flavorful street food-style items such as crispy seafood balls, bao buns and other quick bites. The goal is to give guests a convenient snack option that still reflects the atmosphere and flavors of Southeast Asian street food.
