Royal Caribbean is set to turn up the adventure in 2026, announcing bold transformations for three of its most beloved ships: Ovation of the Seas, Harmony of the Seas, and Liberty of the Seas. As part of the cruise line’s ongoing Royal Amplified program, these ships will be newly reimagined with exciting experiences both onboard and ashore, offering guests more ways than ever to explore Alaska, Europe, and the Caribbean.
“Royal Caribbean continues to raise the bar on delivering the best of every vacation,” said Jay Schneider, Chief Product Innovation Officer. “The Royal Amplified program gives our guests the best of Royal Caribbean with new-to-class culinary options, entertainment, and thrilling adventures, all paired with the hospitality and service we’re known for.”

Ovation of the Seas: Alaska Adventures, Reimagined
In 2026, Ovation of the Seas will debut an expanded experience with highlights including:
A revitalized pool deck featuring private casitas and a new whirlpool
Dining upgrades like Giovanni’s Italian Kitchen and Izumi Teppanyaki
New nightlife at the Sound Cellar and tropical cocktails at the Pesky Parrot – a first for the Quantum Class
Expanded Casino Royale, plus new accommodation options, including the Ultimate Family Suite
Ovation will return to Alaska for 7- to 13-night sailings, including Cruisetour packages that combine land and sea exploration, making it the first Quantum Class ship to offer such immersive land experiences.

Harmony of the Seas: Caribbean Cool Meets European Charm
The Oasis Class favorite, Harmony of the Seas, will get a serious glow-up, launching in Europe before repositioning to Port Canaveral (Orlando) for winter sailings in the Caribbean. New additions will include:
A tropical-themed pool deck with The Lime & Coconut
Dining spots like Playmakers Sports Bar, El Loco Fresh, and the debut of Samba Grill Brazilian Steakhouse
The Ultimate Family Suite and the largest Casino Royale in Royal Caribbean’s fleet
Starting winter 2026, Harmony will offer 5- and 7-night Caribbean getaways, visiting islands like St. Thomas and Jamaica, and stopping at the highly rated Perfect Day at CocoCay, with optional access to the Royal Beach Club on Paradise Island, opening December 2025.

Liberty of the Seas: From the Fjords to the Fiesta
Liberty of the Seas will receive a complete refresh, perfect for families and adventurers alike. Highlights of her 2026 enhancements include:
A reimagined pool deck with The Lime & Coconut, new casitas, and a new Royal Escape Room concept
A new Starbucks, plus expanded dining with Izumi Teppanyaki and El Loco Fresh
Returning favorites like The Perfect Storm waterslides and signature Royal Caribbean entertainment
Liberty will sail from Southampton, UK, in summer 2026, visiting European destinations like the Norwegian fjords, Bruges, and Copenhagen. She’ll then reposition to Galveston, Texas, for Western Caribbean itineraries that include the much-anticipated Royal Beach Club Cozumel, opening the same year.
A Continued Evolution of the Royal Caribbean Vacation
The 2026 amplifications follow the successful transformation of Allure of the Seas and mark the latest milestones in Royal Caribbean’s Royal Amplified program, first launched in 2018. With over 28 ships in its fleet—and four more on the horizon—Royal Caribbean serves more than seven million guests annually, sailing to over 300 destinations worldwide.
The cruise line’s destination portfolio is also expanding rapidly. In addition to the new Royal Beach Clubs in Paradise Island and Cozumel, guests can look forward to exclusive beach experiences in Labadee, Haiti, and Lelepa, Vanuatu. The next marquee development, Perfect Day Mexico, is expected to launch in fall 2027.
With these exciting transformations, Royal Caribbean reinforces its reputation as a pioneer of bold vacation experiences, setting a new standard for adventure at sea in 2026 and beyond.
