Carnival Mardi Gras Delayed

One of the most anticipated ships of 2020/2021, the Mardi Gras by Carnival Cruise Line has been delayed, again. Due to continued delays in the resumption of cruising due to COVID-19, Mardi Gras will now Debut on April 24, 2021. Mardi Gras will sail from a brand new Terminal in Port Canaveral, Florida, and will be the largest and most innovative ship in Carnival Cruise Line history.

The President of Carnival Cruise Line, Christine Duffy, had this to say in a statement:

"We apologize to our guests but we must continue to take a thoughtful, deliberate, and measured approach as we map out our return to operations in 2021,"

Carnival Cruise Line has suspended all embarkations globally through February 28, 2021. During this time of extended shutdown, Carnival will design operational plans to return to sailing as safely as possible. When Carnival Cruise Line ships return they will follow strict social distancing guidelines and mask-wearing requirements.
