MSC World Asia Expands Dining Lineup With Eataly Restaurant

Eataly is heading to another MSC Cruises ship, with the Italian dining concept set to join MSC World Asia when the cruise line's newest World Class flagship begins sailing the Mediterranean this December.
Eataly Heads to MSC World Asia
Eataly aboard MSC World Asia will combine contemporary design with a menu focused on regional Italian specialties and familiar classics prepared using carefully selected ingredients.
The restaurant will build on the concept introduced aboard MSC World America while adapting the experience for MSC World Asia's Mediterranean deployment. Show cooking will form a major part of the venue, giving diners a closer look at the preparation taking place inside the restaurant.
A dedicated chef's table will offer an even more intimate dining experience centered around Italian culinary craftsmanship.
"Exceptional food and hospitality are at the heart of the experience we create for our guests,” MSC Cruises CEO Gianni Onorato said. Onorato added that the partnership allows MSC Cruises to combine its own European heritage with Eataly's focus on Italian food, tradition and hospitality.
Dining Outside With Ocean Views
One of the standout features of MSC World Asia's Eataly will be its outdoor terrace. Guests can dine outside alongside the ship with unobstructed views across the ocean, extending the restaurant beyond its main interior dining room. The setting is particularly notable aboard MSC World Asia, where several dining and entertainment concepts are being designed around indoor-outdoor spaces. Wine will also play a significant role in the experience. Guests can visit the wine cellar at nearby The Terraces Bar, where they can receive personalized assistance selecting a bottle to accompany their meal.

The Second Eataly at Sea
MSC World Asia will follow MSC World America as the second MSC Cruises ship to feature Eataly. The partnership first brought the modern Eataly concept to sea aboard MSC World America, which began sailing from Miami in 2025. MSC Cruises currently remains the only cruise line featuring an Eataly restaurant at sea. Its expansion to MSC World Asia brings the concept into the Mediterranean — a particularly fitting setting for a restaurant built around Italian cuisine and regional culinary traditions.

More Than 40 Places to Eat and Drink
Eataly joins an increasingly extensive food and beverage lineup aboard MSC World Asia. The ship will feature more than 40 restaurants, bars, lounges and cafés, including several concepts developed with outside culinary partners. MSC Cruises has gradually been revealing those venues ahead of the ship's debut, including a collection of new bars and lounges designed specifically for MSC World Asia. The ship is the third vessel in MSC Cruises' World Class series, following MSC World Europa and MSC World America.
