Royal Caribbean International took delivery of Wonder of the Seas on January 27, 2022. What can be better than welcoming a new ship? We can prepare to experience an entirely new dining experience while onboard! Royal Caribbean has announced its newest specialty dining experience to debut on Wonder of the Seas.
Mason Jar Southern Restaurant and Bar will take guests on a culinary adventure through the south. With menu items such as Johnny Cakes, Shimp and Grits, Fried Green Tomatoes, fried chicken, crab beignets, and so much more. Now we cannot forget the most exciting part of this new culinary adventure.... the drinks! In addition to experiencing the incredible southern cuisine that Mason Jar will serve up, get ready for some of the most exciting boozy classics. From an extensive Whiskey list, including a dozen American whiskeys, to spiked floats and milkshakes or enjoy an iconic Mint Julep, "thirsty" will never cross your mind while onboard Wonder of the Seas.
Wonder of the Seas is the largest passenger ship afloat at 236,857 GRT, 1,188 feet long, 230 feet wide, and has the ability to sail 6,988 passengers at max capacity. Wonder will make her debut in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in March 2022 before sailing to the Mediterranean for the Summer Season and finally will sail seven-night sailings out of Cape Canaveral, Florida, in November 2022.
