MSC World Asia Reveals New Bars, Lounges and Cafés Ahead of December Debut
MSC Cruises is expanding the onboard experience aboard its newest flagship, MSC World Asia, with a collection of 40 bars, lounges and cafés when the ship begins sailing in December 2026.
The third ship in MSC Cruises’ World Class series will feature several new concepts alongside returning venues already found elsewhere in the fleet. New additions include Clubhouse & Soda Bar, Sky Box Bar, The Terraces Bar & Lounge, Coral Cove Bar and Pan Asian Bar.
Across the ship, the new venues range from a retro-inspired family soda bar and a cocktail lounge overlooking Luna Park Arena to an Italian-style aperitivo venue and a Southeast Asian-inspired bar overlooking the Promenade.
MSC World Asia will begin seven-night Mediterranean cruises on December 4, 2026, with itineraries calling at Barcelona, Marseille, Genoa, Civitavecchia for Rome, Messina and Valletta.
The ship will also incorporate design elements inspired by Asian culture, art and landscapes. Compared with the first World Class ship, MSC World Europa, MSC Cruises says MSC World Asia will feature 13 new experiences and reimagined spaces.
Clubhouse & Soda Bar
One of the most distinctive additions aboard MSC World Asia will be Clubhouse & Soda Bar, a colorful venue inspired by the 1980s and 1990s.
The space is designed as a gathering place for families and friends, with the Soda Bar allowing guests to create customized non-alcoholic drinks using a soda base combined with cream, flavored syrups, and toppings.
During the day, Clubhouse will feature MSC Cruises-themed games, interactive digital tables, and challenges. Families will also have access to a LEGO area, while The Court will offer bumper cars and other activities.
As evening arrives, the venue will transition into a social space serving cocktails and mocktails, creating a different atmosphere later in the day.
Sky Box Bar
Located within Luna Park Arena, Sky Box Bar will offer a more intimate cocktail experience overlooking one of the ship’s primary entertainment venues.
The concept draws inspiration from early 20th-century Futurism, with a cocktail menu that reworks familiar drinks with contemporary presentations.
Bartenders will also incorporate elements of mixology theatre while preparing cocktails, adding another entertainment component to the experience.
The venue is positioned for both pre-show drinks before entertainment inside Luna Park Arena and later-night cocktails.

The Terraces Bar & Lounge
The Terraces Bar & Lounge will bring an Italian aperitivo-style experience to MSC World Asia.
Guests can choose from classic cocktails, including Negronis and Aperol Spritzes, along with additional spritzes, wines, and prosecco.
Traditional Italian bites such as focaccia and olives will accompany the beverage menu.
The indoor portion of the lounge will feature live music, while wine tasting sessions will highlight selected local varieties and connect the onboard experience with destinations visited during the ship’s Mediterranean itineraries.
Outside, an open-air terrace will provide panoramic ocean views and a setting centered around drinks and sunsets at sea.
Coral Cove Bar
Located within the ship’s Coral Cove Pool, Coral Cove Bar will serve as a relaxed poolside venue aboard MSC World Asia.
The design takes inspiration from Philippine coral reefs, while the beverage menu will include a selection of classic drinks.
MSC Cruises describes the space as a casual setting for guests to unwind and socialize throughout the day.
Pan Asian Bar
Overlooking the Promenade, Pan Asian Bar will form part of the ship’s new Pan Asian Street Food restaurant concept.
The restaurant will include three venues inspired by Southeast Asian street food, with the bar offering cocktails and beverages inspired by the region.
Planned drinks include Jasmine Mojitos, Rose and Strawberry Daiquiris and Matcha Coladas.
A selection of beers from across Asia will also be available.
MSC Cruises will additionally serve a beer created specifically for the ship called Oceanic Asian, which the cruise line says will feature Asian-inspired notes and be served at sea.
Returning Bars and Lounges
The new concepts will join several venues returning aboard the third World Class ship. Among them are Coffee Emporium, Fizz – Champagne Bar, All-Stars Sports Bar and Masters of the Sea.
Masters of the Sea will continue the World Class concept of brewing beer aboard the ship, while All-Stars Sports Bar will bring the sports bar concept to MSC World Asia during its European deployment.
With 40 bars, lounges and cafés planned across the ship, the beverage and social spaces will make up a significant part of the onboard experience when MSC World Asia enters service later this year.

MSC World Asia Begins Sailing in December
MSC World Asia is scheduled to begin passenger service on December 4, 2026. The ship will operate seven-night Mediterranean itineraries visiting Barcelona, Spain; Marseille, France; Genoa, Italy; Civitavecchia, Italy, for Rome; Messina, Italy; and Valletta, Malta. The ship follows MSC World Europa and MSC World America as the third vessel in MSC Cruises’ World Class series.
