Royal Caribbean is set to turn up the adventure in 2026, announcing bold transformations for three of its most beloved ships: Ovation of the Seas, Harmony of the Seas, and Liberty of the Seas. As part of the cruise line’s ongoing Royal Amplified program, these ships will be newly reimagined with exciting experiences both onboard and ashore, offering guests more ways than ever to explore Alaska, Europe, and the Caribbean.

Music legend and cultural icon Diana Ross is setting sail into maritime history. Royal Caribbean International has officially named Ross as the godmother of Star of the Seas, the newest addition to its groundbreaking Icon Class of ships, which is set to debut in August 2025.

MSC Cruises is set to make a major splash in the Southern Caribbean with the announcement of MSC Opera’s brand-new year-round itineraries from La Romana, Dominican Republic, beginning November 16, 2026. This marks a historic first for the cruise line, as it deploys a ship in the South Caribbean during the summer season and, for the first time, operates two ships in the region throughout the winter.
