Part 3: 5 Must Do Things on Harmony of the Seas!

Harmony Of the Seas:

The, yet to be completed, Harmony of the Seas is going to be a “must sail” ship and will redefine the cruise industry in many ways and I am counting down the days until I walk onboard her (358). The Harmony of the Seas is a cross between the Oasis class, the Quantum class, and a whole new element. Below are the 5 must do features on Harmony of the Seas

1. The Ultimate Abyss:

Located at the stern of the ship the Ultimate Abyss consist of two 10 story dry slides starting from the sports zone on deck 16 and ending on the Boardwalk on deck 6. Yes, these slides range 10 decks. They will be the tallest slides at sea. Guests will begin on a clear, glass platform cantilevered over the Aqua theater, then slide down 10 stories on a mat ending on deck 6 in the heart of the Boardwalk. The best part is there will be two of these slides!

2. Perfect Storm:

The “Perfect Storm” consists of 3-water slide located at the aft of the ship. Guests will be able to race down two slides or have fun in a champagne slide. These waterslides will give riders a brief look of central park as you start off in a see through launch area and then land on the pool deck and continue your day of relaxation in one of the two cantilevered Jacuzzis on either side on the ship.

3. Bionic Bar:

Set to be located at the rear of the Royal Promenade will be the most futuristic bar at sea, the Bionic Bar. Making its debut on Quantum of the Seas in 2014 the Bionic Bar became an instant hit and will continue WOWing guests by expanding to Harmony of the Seas. Bionic Bar will be where the Champagne Bar is currently located on Oasis and Allure.

Missing the cut to make it on to Oasis and Allure, Wonderland will make its debut on Oasis class on the Harmony of the Seas. She will hold the largest Wonderland restaurant with a phenomenal View. Wonderland is the place to try the most exotic cuisine at sea, to let your taste buds soar and your mind dream. Spanning two decks at the Aft of the ship, Wonderland will have a view of the Boardwalk and the ocean in the distance. This is a for fee restaurant but is worth every dime you spend. 5. Splashaway Bay:

Taking the place of the H20 Zone on Oasis and Allure is Splash away Bay. A whole new way for the youngest passengers to enjoy their days at sea! In Splashaway Bay you will find a small water park consisting of sea creatures, water cannons, water slides, a giant drench bucket and a multi-platform jungle gym.
