MSC Cruises has revealed the MSC World Asia entertainment lineup, featuring four new theatrical productions, two returning favorites, and 33 musicians performing daily ahead of the ship's December 2026 debut.

MSC Cruises has unveiled the MSC World Asia entertainment lineup, revealing six theatrical productions, an expanded live music program, and new onboard experiences ahead of the ship's December 4, 2026 debut in the Mediterranean.

The newest World Class ship will feature four new productions alongside two returning favorites, with performances taking place in the World Theatre and Panorama Lounge.

Three of the new productions will debut in the World Theatre, while Panorama Lounge will welcome a new symphonic concert experience combining orchestral music with contemporary pop and dance hits.

Beyond the main productions, 33 musicians will perform daily across multiple venues, bringing live bands, solo performances, strolling musicians and dueling pianos to the ship.

The expanded entertainment program is part of 13 new experiences and reimagined spaces planned for MSC World Asia compared with MSC World Europa, the first vessel in MSC Cruises' World Class series.

MSC World Asia Entertainment: Three New World Theatre Productions

The World Theatre will host four productions, including three entirely new shows developed in collaboration with established entertainment and creative production companies. The lineup will bring together theatrical storytelling, contemporary choreography, music, and cirque performances.

La NoTte: A Mysterious Night Frozen in Time

La NoTte will take audiences inside a mysterious residence where time appears to have stopped and memories of a single night continue to unfold.

Developed in partnership with Only Child, a creative company specializing in music, fashion, live theatre and film, the production follows characters described as lovers and misfits through an atmospheric theatrical setting.

Music, dance and cinematic elements will bring the residence to life, with unexpected encounters and changing scenes revealing the story as the performance progresses.

Sensoria: Bringing the Five Senses to Life

Sensoria will explore the five senses through a theatrical production combining music, movement and cirque artistry.

Created by award-winning production company tbi, also known as The Big Idea, the show will use sight, sound, touch, taste and smell as the inspiration for its performances.

Through choreography, visual effects, and contemporary stage techniques, Sensoria will create a sensory-focused production designed to immerse audiences in the experience.

Ritmo Divino: A Modern Flamenco Love Story

Spanish flamenco will take center stage in Ritmo Divino, a production combining traditional Spanish folklore with contemporary theatrical storytelling.

Developed in partnership with 2 Creative Entertainment, the show follows the romantic relationship between a young flamenco dancer and a fearless matador.

Their relationship unfolds through passionate choreography and dramatic performances, ultimately leading toward a tragic conclusion.

The production will blend traditional flamenco influences with modern staging and theatrical elements.

Hall of Fame: Celebrating Music's Biggest Names

Joining the three new productions will be Hall of Fame, an established MSC Cruises entertainment experience making its way to the Mediterranean.

Inspired by major music award ceremonies and memorable pop culture performances, the show celebrates influential recording artists across generations.

The concert-style production will recreate the atmosphere of major live music events through performances honoring artists who have shaped the music industry.

Panorama Lounge Welcomes New and Returning Symphonic Shows

Another significant part of the MSC World Asia entertainment program will take place in Panorama Lounge, where two large-scale musical productions will combine orchestral arrangements with live performers.

The venue will welcome the new Sunset Symphonic alongside the returning Queen Symphonic, offering a different entertainment experience from the productions staged in the World Theatre.

Sunset Symphonic: Pop and Dance Anthems Meet the Orchestra

Sunset Symphonic will bring a new live music production to Panorama Lounge, combining recognizable pop and dance anthems with symphonic arrangements.

The show will feature an orchestral soundtrack recorded by dozens of musicians, accompanied by live vocalists and instrumentalists performing aboard the ship.

Contemporary choreography and aerial performances will add a theatrical dimension to the production, transforming popular songs into a concert experience that blends orchestral music with high-energy dance performances.

The production will move between symphonic arrangements and contemporary musical styles, creating a distinctive addition to the ship's evening entertainment options.

Queen Symphonic: A Rock and Orchestra Experience

Queen Symphonic will return as part of the entertainment lineup aboard MSC World Asia, celebrating the music of legendary British rock band Queen.

The production combines a specially filmed 36-piece symphonic orchestra with a live rock band, singers, dancers and acrobats.

The musical arrangements reinterpret some of Queen's most recognizable songs through a combination of orchestral performances and live rock music.

The show will bring together theatrical staging, contemporary choreography and the familiar sound of Queen's catalog.

MSC World Asia to Feature 33 Musicians Performing Daily

The MSC World Asia entertainment lineup will extend well beyond the ship's six major productions.

MSC Cruises has confirmed that 33 musicians will perform daily across multiple venues, supporting an extensive live music program throughout the ship.

The lineup will include solo artists, strolling musicians and live bands, alongside the cruise line's popular dueling pianos experience.

Additional entertainment and interactive activities will be offered throughout Luna Park, The Harbour and the new Clubhouse.

These venues will expand the ship's entertainment options beyond traditional theatrical performances, with games, activities and experiences aimed at families, groups and adults.

Steve Leatham, Vice President of Entertainment for MSC Cruises, said the company is continuing to invest in new productions while expanding the variety of onboard performances.

The announcement also follows the launch of MSC Creative Studios in Edinburgh, Scotland.

The facility focuses on entertainment development and training, supporting MSC Cruises' production teams as they create new theatrical experiences for the fleet.

Stephanie Jansen, Senior Director of Creative & Theatrical Entertainment for MSC Cruises, said the company worked with creative professionals from across the entertainment industry to develop original productions for MSC World Asia.

MSC World Asia will become the third vessel in MSC Cruises' World Class series, following MSC World Europa and MSC World America.

The ship will incorporate design elements inspired by Asian culture, art and landscapes while continuing the World Class concept of celebrating the world's continents and oceans.
